To create pie charts using Google Forms, follow the steps below.

On PC

Choose the form for which you want to create a chart in Google Forms. When the form is active, go to the top and select the Replies tab to see the data from the answers you’ve got.

Beside the 3-dots symbol at the upper edge, tap the Google Sheets button. This will display the Forms data in a Google Sheets file.

Pick a column by tapping on an individual cell with your mouse and sliding upwards until you reach the cell containing the query in Google Sheets.

Next, from the bar at the top, select the Insert menu.

To create a chart, go to the Insert menu and pick Chart.

If you don’t see a pie chart here, don’t panic; we can choose our own. To choose between different charts, press the drop-down button underneath ‘Chart type’ in the chart designer, which is directly next to the chart.

Select a pie chart from the Pie section by scrolling down. Your screen’s graph will now be changed to a pie chart.

Chart Design or Style

Chart design allows you to change the appearance of the chart.

Background Color — This option allows you to modify the chart’s background image. You may make it translucent by selecting none, or you can give it a color of your choice.

Text – This option allows you to select a single font for all of the numbers and letters that appear on the chart.

Chart Margin Color — This option allows you to customize the chart’s border color. The default color scheme is largely Dark grey 2, however, you may change it to any color you choose. The graph will have a translucent border if none is selected.

Maximizing – This will enlarge the chart to suit the available space. When you turn it on, the chart will be maximized, and when you turn it off, it will be reduced to its default size. The data titles may be positioned in one side when the chart is maximized.

Doughnut Hole – Makes a hole in the center of the pie that should be between 25% and 75% of the pie’s total size.

Border Color — This allows you to change the colour of the Pie’s border.

Slice Label – You may add a label to each slice to indicate which one it belongs to.

Label Typeface – This is where you may select a font of your choosing.

Label Font Size – Select font size for the label; you may make it larger or smaller.

Label Format — Modifies the label’s format. You have the option of making it bold or italic.

Text Color – It allows you to alter the color of all of the Label text at the same time.

Pie Slice

The user may personalize each slice of the pie using Pie Slice.

Slice Title — Usually presented as a drop-down menu with possibilities for the slice names. You will be able to select the slice that you wish to alter.

Color – You can choose the color of the slice to your preference.

Distance from the Center — This setting allows you to separate individual slides from the center. It may be used to concentrate attention on a single slice.
